No problem, you can hire a limo, a van or a bus if you want to, even some taxi drivers will take you there for the right price. Just ask at your hotel or one of the many travel agents around town.
You could always take a bus from the Southern Bus Terminal. It cost about 1200 THB and the trip takes about 12 hrs.
Just like the previous answers, it would be better to take a bus from the Southern Bus Terminal.
