Breast implants – Phuket Thailand?

Has anyone here ever got them done in Phuket, Thailand or know of anyone that has got them done in Phuekt, Thailand? If so, was there - any complications? What was the medical treatment like?

Be happy with what you have. Think about the amount of people who starve in this world as opposed to the size of your **** and where you can get them enlarged for cheap.

If you read my previous response, please ignore it. I just ran this by my dad who said that his surgery was in Turkey and that medical care in Thailand is excellent and that if we did not have medical insurance he would go to Thailand for surgery. However, he says the best hospitals and surgeons are in Bangkok. Goodluck.

PS Remember that with any surgery you risk complications. I have heard of many breast implant cases that have had complications and I also know of others that went well. Just keep that in mind.

One of the best hospitals in Asia is Bumrungrad in Bangkok.

Breast augmentation 90,000 baht (about $2800). I have had friends have work there (not implants) and were very happy.

Bangkok Hospital is a very famous private hospital chain in Thailand.

A few things to keep in mind while you are doing your research for cosmetic surgery abroad (often called medical tourism):

Among the most commonly voiced concerns about medical tourism, especially for cosmetic procedures, is the difficulty of checking the qualifications of surgeons, anesthesiologists and medical staff at privately owned and operated medical travel facilities. Also, because U.S. law is rarely enforceable overseas, medical tourism clients often have little or no legal recourse in the event of negligence or malpractice by the physician or institution.

Follow-up care is another important consideration for the medical tourist. Most travel medical packages provide for limited or no follow-up consultations once the patient returns to the United States. If complications arise, local doctors may not be able to treat patients who underwent cosmetic surgery abroad as easily.

Before booking medical travel that involves traveling halfway around the world for cosmetic plastic surgery, patients should look into the many safe, affordable plastic surgery options available here in the United States. Many American surgeons are banding together in networks to offer very affordable financing terms to patients who are not insured or whose medical coverage doesn't apply to cosmetic surgery.

Good luck to you, hope this helps!
