Are there shops in Phuket, Thailand where you can buy Nintendo Wii, PSP, X-Box and etc...?

These electronics are not any cheaper in Thailand, in fact may be slightly more expensive..

In Thailand the currency is the Thai baht and there about THB 32 to the 1 US $ at moment

As an example bought a Sony PSP a few weeks ago in Thailand for THB8500 which is around US$ 265

I think you got the conversion wrong. 1 Malaysian ringgit is about 10 baht and 1 USD is about 33 baht. You need to rework your computation.

If you would like to buy the above items, I suggest it would be better to buy in Japan. Either way, I don't think buying such electronic gadgets were written in English.

One advantage in terms of electronic gadgets, Japan have them first for at least a year or so before even coming to the U.S. market.

There's a shop in the Ocean plaza on Bangla road. There are also a ton of small shops that will sell Nintendo DS and possibly PSP in stalls along the roads.

It's not cheap in Thailand. It's more expensive than U.S. And no refunds.

However, the Wii and the XBox 360 are chipped which means you can play copied games. Also, Nintendo DS games are widely available. THAT'S where the bargains are. The hardware itself is 20-40% more expensive.

If you find my info useful, give me a "best answer".

thanks!

I think you can buy from Amazon but you stay in thailand is high shipping fee

Central Festival Phuket on the same level as Power Buy has a shop, and Jungcyleon in Patong on the same level as SF Cinema has a shop. These are the only places that I know of that sells the systems. But beware when buying them, they are mostly likely modified to play pirated games so there probably is no warranty. Also some of the accessories are fake although they look like the real thing.

A warning, once you buy it, you CAN NOT return or exchange it, even if its defective.

I think you better off buying it in the US instead.
